Riesling – estate wine with a dry taste profile.

Grown on Devonian slate soils with parts of rhyolite or quartz porphyry of volcanic origins.

A great dry wine derived from the steepest slate layers. It is the perfectly ripening of the small berries from 120-year-old vines, in this super location, that allow us to experience the deep, dense, silky texture of this wine.

The all-pervading, almost salty minerality creates an arc of tension between profound concentration and challenging freshness in this valuable wine. Starting from a warm, inner core, the scent of pineapple, ripe red grapefruit and fine orange notes unfolds in a large glass. This wine has an intricate, multi-faceted seductive bouquet, which great wines have and an enduring finish.
